Six sailings a day from Harties Harbour, from a one-hour trip to a plated lunch on The Alba.

Harties Boat Company has sailed from Kommandonek since 2016, when Danny Buoy made its first trip. Three boats now leave from the same jetty.

Toro Ya Me runs the one-hour cruise. Danny Buoy does lunch and sunset with a buffet. The Alba, a 42-metre cruiser with glass on three sides, came 1,600 km by road from Cape Town to serve plated food at the table.

Two hours, with food

Lunch at 13:00. A hot and cold finger-and-fork buffet, every day.
Sunset at 16:00. A glass of champagne as you board, then canapés.
Brunch at 10:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, with platters.

R645 for adults, R445 for children, R430 for pensioners. On The Alba the same three sailings are plated and served to the table, from R845.

Harties Harbour, Kommandonek Resort, Simon Bekker Avenue, Hartbeespoort, 0216. Secure parking at the resort. Arrive an hour before you sail, and skip the Hartbeespoort tunnel if you're cutting it fine: it runs one way at a time.
