The water, then the lions
A two-hour cruise on The Alba or Danny Buoy, and a two-hour guided drive at the Lion & Safari Park, half an hour away: lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, leopards and hyenas.

A cake shaped like a boat
Book any two-hour cruise in the month of your birthday and bring your ID. You get a cocktail at Zanzibar afterwards. Book for six or more and there's a cake as well, chocolate or vanilla, with a balloon.
Smaller group? Add the cake for a little extra.
A night at La Dolce Vita
The family's guest house in Kosmos, on the water's edge: rooms and honeymoon suites with jacuzzi baths that look over the dam, a pool, and a full English breakfast. Book a stay package and the cruise comes with it.
For a night on the water itself, the catamaran La Dolce Vita moors out on the dam: R12,500 from 18:30 to 10:00, or R19,500 with a two-hour sunset sail first.
A lesson on the water
An excursion about the dam's water and the hyacinth that chokes it, with material from Rhodes University and Magalies Water. A one-hour cruise, a hot dog and Oros, and the kids' beach, pool and jungle gym. Mondays to Thursdays.
